If you want to get somewhere with your vision you need to latch onto an object. Say it again. To achieve your goal you have to set one. Say it again. You know what I'm saying. Can't get enough of moving up on the totals until you get out and jam at it. 17.25mi, not but 400 feet of up and down, and 3hrs and change,but beats a great big hole in the ground dug real deep.Time is short, so Mister Big good showing at the races today, and may your first and last step begin and end with your friends at your side, because that is the goal and that is the vision. Clueless

Twenty days into the year and what a rough and roll it's been.I am glad no resolutions need to be followed, none made, good thing. Every one would have crumbled. It's just get up again and you will win. Plans,oh yes, maybe that is just the fun of looking forward. Wouldn't change a thing, though. So here we go off to finishing off this lousy , stinking month.Not a clue as to what will happen next.

Back in The USSR

It was a cold New Years day as the onions,celery,peppers,garlic,and carrots sauted in olive oil. On the burner next, simmered beets in lemon and trace tomato, while cabbage and potato bubbled in vegetable broth. Combining all completed the borscht.Flipping the cake round, the Sharlotka actually looked remarkable, fresh apples and an airy batter actually held. Resting on it's second turn the yeast dough was ready to roll and cut. While cabbage leaves softened for stuffing, the Golubsky were set.The oven evenly browned the formed tiny loaves, and the piroshki and kulebyaka were front and center. I never realized that it would be so difficult to find cooking guidelines for Russian cuisine. But with a little research I was able to cross check one opinion with another, and recipes sometimes are blueprints for failure, it did take some know how to construct the final outcome. It did look ugly for awhile. There are still many plates yet left to fill.
