Just a young dog
By an old road
By the route she choose
An ancient song
In an old tongue
For this dog was sung
"Oh I'm carrying a heavy load, can't go no further down this long road. it's a heavy load!
By a bright stream
Came an old dream
Things are never what they always seem
And so she went on
Travelling on
Carrying a heavy load
Now she's a long way from home.
